The TC305 Silent Choice Ionic Air Purifier is most effective when its electro statically charged triple blade collection cartridge is clean and free of dust and various pollutant particles.
It is recommended to clean the TC305 Silent Choice Ionic Air Purifier once a week. To clean the triple blade collection cartridge of the TC305, follow the instructions below.
Turn off the TC305 Silent Choice Ionic Air Purifier by pressing the ON/OFF button, located on top of the TC305, until the green LED lights are all off.
Unplug the TC305 from the wall outlet. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
Remove the triple blade collection cartridge by simply pulling it out from the top of the TC305.
Place the triple blade collection cartridge aside turn the TC305 Silent Choice Ionic Air Purifier up-side-down a few times in order to clean the two internal ionizing wires which create a negative charge. As you flip the unit up-side-down, you will hear the ceramic cleaning blocks at work.
Use the supplied cleaning cloth to clean the blades of the collection cartridge. If necessary, slightly dampen the cleaning cloth before use.
Let the collection cartridge completely dry and insert it back into its proper position.
Plug the TC305 Silent Choice Ionic Air Purifier back into the wall outlet and press the ON/OFF button to set your desired air speed.
If the TC305 Silent Choice Ionic Air Purifier makes a static noise during normal operation, a thorough cleaning of the triple blade collection cartridge may be required.
